Mani Ratnam Gopala Ratnam Subramaniam was Born 2 june 1956 in Madurai. An Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter, specializing in Tamil cinema, is a successful filmmaker in India, having won numerous awards at global film festivals.. Ratnam started his professional career as a director in 1983 with the Kannada movie Pallavi anu Pallavi. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Central Polytechnic College and worked for a typewriting firm before becoming a screenwriter in the film industry. He was brought into the screenwriting industry by S. A. Chandrasekhar, who had a chance to witness the drama stage productions created by Shankar and his crew. Although he wanted to become the actor of his dreams, he decided to become a director and eventually became one of the most prominent directors in Indian film.

Nammalvar Lingusamy, born November 14, 1967, is an Indian screenwriter, film director, and film producer from Tamil cinema based in Chennai. Lingusamy began his career as a director with Aanandham in 2001. He was then followed by Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005), Paiyaa (2010), along with Vettai (2012). The director and his sister, N. Arun Kumar (born September 21, 1986), professionally known by the name Atlee, is an Indian screenwriter, director of films, and producer most well-known as a screenwriter and director of Tamil film productions. The first time he worked with him was as assistant director for Shankar in the films Enthiran (2010) and Nanban (2012). The director debuted in his movie Raja Rani (2013), created through Fox Star Studios, for which he received the Best First Director from the Vijay Award and the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Dialogue Scriptwriter.
He was the director of Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019) Bigil (2019) with Vijay. All of them were commercially successful at the box office and were awarded numerous awards. He was also the director of Hindi-language Jawan (2023), which starred Shah Rukh Khan and was hailed as his highest-grossing release. Atlee is among one of the top directors of Indian Cinema.
